NDN released a new video of Dr. Robert Shapiro (below), Chair of NDN’s Globalization Initiative and former Under Secretary of Commerce from 1998 to 2001, commenting on the current state of the economy. In his interview with NDN President Simon Rosenberg, Dr. Shapiro addresses the three main challenges facing the economy today: the continuing struggle of the middle class amid increased economic globalization; the impending recession; and the financial crisis.
