NDN is proud to announce the addition of Shyam Kannan, Vice President and Director of Research and Development for Robert Charles Lesser & Co. (RCLCO), to the panel for our Energy and the American Way of Life discussion this Friday, August 1. Mr. Kannan specializes in green buildings, urban infill development, sustainable development, urban revitalization strategies, mixed-use development, and urban-retail development.
Assistant U.S. Senate Majority Leader Dick Durbin will be giving a speech on the Green Economic Opportunity, and will be followed by a panel of experts, including Mr. Kannan, Roger Efird, Jack Hidary, and Greg Kats.
The panel will be moderated by NDN Green Project Director Michael Moynihan, who will be discussing his new paper, Solar Energy: The Case for Action.
Senator Durbin's speech will begin at 11:15 a.m. The panel will follow immediately thereafter.
