Not to be upstaged by U.S. Sen. Barack Obama's historic speech before an estimated 200,000 people in Berlin, U.S. Sen. John McCain used the extra time gained from his canceled campaign trip to Louisiana to make his own Teutonic overtures at Schmidt's Sausage Haus and Restaurant in German Village outside of Columbus, Ohio.
How depressing. Couldn't he think of somewhere else to go? Maybe a Mexican restaurant? What about Thai? This candidate needs a new communications team -- now!
