Originally from Uruguay, Carolina will be graduating from the University of Michigan in December with a BA in International Relations and a BA in Latin American & Caribbean Studies. Last semester Carolina interned for the United Nations Information Centre, she has also worked previously as a media analyst specializing in Latin American newspapers. At Michigan, she's a member of Migrants and Immigrants Right's Awareness (MIRA), and a member of International Relations Honor Society Sigma Iota Rho. In DC she's in the New Leaders Program at the Center for Progressive Leadership. She plans to attend Law School next fall.
